Dr. Vipulroy Dayanand Rathod (born 13 May 1964 in Navsari, Gujarat, India) is a gastroenterologist and endoscopist. He is the founder and director of Endoscopy Asia.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title= Endoscopy Asia )〕 Vipulroy Rathod has been in clinical practice in Mumbai for more than a decade and has the largest individual experience in advanced endoscopy and endoscopic ultrasound in the Indian subcontinent 〔(【引用サイトリンク】title= About Dr. Rathod )〕 and is the pioneer of interventional pancreato-billiary EUS. ==Education and career== After completing his M.B.B.S. at Veer Narmad South Gujarat University in Gujarat, India in 1988 and his MS in general surgery in 1992, he went to Germany as a clinical fellow and trainee in advanced therapeutic endoscopy and endosonography at the Department of Endoscopic Surgery of University Medical Center Hamburg-Eppendorf, Germany under Prof. Nib Sohendra and Dr. Kenneth Binmoeller.
